Song: Hide and Seek by Johnny T

Nighty Night's Pov

I sat at the base of a tree, enjoying the sounds of the light swaying of branches as I read my favorite book. "What cha reading there?" A voice, almost identical to mine spoke, startling me. I looked around and try to find it's source, but to no avail. I shrugged it off as just being my imagination and continued to read my book. "Ya know, it's rude to ignore someone who's talking to~." The voice spoke again, this time sounding a lot closer. I snapped my head around to see a black, goopy skeleton and I jumped up in surprise, how did he approach me without making a sound? Who was he and why did he sound like me? Something about this strange skeleton also set me into a fight or flight panic and I don't know why, but I began to tremble with fear. "W-who are you a-and what do you want" I stuttered, backing away slightly. The figure howled with laughter before responding, "Who am I? Can't you see, I'm YOU and as for what I want? I want to have a little FUN~."

Nightmare's Pov

Not too long after I introduced myself to myself, Nighty ran away from me as expected. 'This'll be fun~.' I thought to myself as I gave Nighty a head start to hide. Oh, how I love being a sadistic prick!

Nighty Night's Pov

I ran until I found a fallen, hollow log and climbed inside of it. As I waited until I felt safe, I tried to calm my breathing. 'That couldn't have been me! I'm nothing like that.. thing!' Lost in my thoughts, I was shoved back into reality as I heard the crunching of twigs. I covered my mouth with my hand to prevent myself from making any noise. "Come out, come out, where ever you are~." He taunts as the sounds grow closer, then slowly fade as he walks away. I let a sigh of relief leave my lips, feeling safe for now. I continue to calm my breathing down, until I was forcibly yanked out of the log by my legs. "Found you~!" He cooed, watching me struggle to escape the grasp of his tentacles. I suddenly flinch as one them slid under my clothes and roughly caressed my ribs and spine. I try to kick it away, only to have my legs forced apart by more tentacles. "I didn't expect you fight back, at least, not this much. I'm not complaining though, I love a good challenge~" He said with a sadistic grin. Having no other choice I did the last thing I could think of and began to scream for help "DREAM!! HE-!!" A tentacle was shoved into my mouth, "Nuh-uh, you wouldn't want HIM to end up like you. Would you~?" He threatened, his already sadistic grin growing more maniacal as he waited for an answer. I shook my head no, fearful of what this THING would do to Dream. "Good boy, now if you behave and continue being a good boy then I'll let you go. But only after I get what I want, am I clear~?" Unable to speak back, I nodded my head in agreement.

Six Word Memoir

I am not okay, I promise.

Memorable Passage

Unfortunately, Wattpad (the reading app that I use to read and create stories) will not allow me to copy and paste a passage due to copyright and other stuff so I can't add in a passage of a story that I'm currently reading. All that I can say is it's a Romance story. That's all I read now-a-days and I don't have any other memorable books that I read outside of the app. Sorry.

Writers as Readers

  1. When you read, what do you need to be comfortable (environment, snacks, lighting)?
Yes, I need to be left alone. By myself.
  1. What genres (types of writing) interest you? What specifically about this genre interests you? Why are you drawn to certain books?  Any genres you avoid?
Little but of horror, some fan fiction, typical nerdy teenager stuff.
  1. What is one of your best memories connected with reading?
The being alone part is the best... I don't like people...
  1. When you write, do you continually envision the “reader” of your piece?  Who do you think would be interested in reading your work?  Does having a reader in mind affect how you choose your words, themes, ideas?  What’s different if you just write for yourself knowing no one else will ever read what you come up with?
... The content and detail will be VERY different from writing for myself than writing for other people...
  1. Do you think you’d ever write a book someday?  Do you know what it would be about?  How would you want to be described on the “About the Author” at the front of the book?
I actively write fan fiction when I have time between school and work so... Done.

News paper

Guilty. Sentenced for life. Charged with first-degree murder. Just east of the city limits. Retrieved a gun, walked home, and shot her in the neck.

After all the sound and fury. The same surge in popularity. Not Miss Popular. A surprise? Sketchy.

My first and last dream...

When I was younger, about 7 years old I think, I had my first dream. It wasn't like the kind of surrealistic dreams that normal kids in Kindergarten would have. The night I had my dream was as normal as any other. My mom had tucked me in, said goodnight, and turned on my Minnie Mouse nightlight before closing the bedroom door. In my dream I found myself in a dark room, broken shackles hung from my wrists and ankles. The would room toss and sway gently as if it were moving. I carefully feel around the walls of the room and find the outline of a door. I hesitate a bit, hearing voices from the other side. As they die down, my confidence to open the door grew until I finally did it. I was blinded by the sudden sunlight, I was on a boat and a fairly big one too. The boat was on a bright blue river and on either side was nothing but yellow sand. I panicked hearing a man's voice yell in my direction, I ran to the nearest side of the boat and jumped over the edge. It wasn't until I hit the freezing cold water I realized how hot the air was around me and how much I couldn't swim. The broken shackles didn't help either, they were so heavy. I tired myself out from flailing that I just couldn't keep my head above the water anyway and took a deep breath before giving up. I began to sink to the bottom of the river, growing colder the farther I sank. I gasped as I couldn't hold my breath anymore, breathing in water and started flailing again. My vision becomes blurred as no more oxygen filled my lungs, drowning under the ship I jumped from. When my vision finally goes black I wake up to my mom waking me up to catch the bus. That was the last time I had a dream and it would be 6 years later to make sense of that dream. 6 years to learn about Ancient Egypt, the Nile River, and Slaves.

Author's note:
Okay, so this 'story' is 100% true. I don't dream at night, I just see black. Like those relatable moments when you think 'I'll just close my eyes for a few minutes' and you've already slept for 2 hours. That's my sleep. No dreams just minor time travel. Anyways, I did have 1 dream when I was 7 that I drowned. What's weird to me is that a Kindergartner isn't going to know about Ancient Egypt or Slavery or even death for that matter, but I was able to dream myself on the Nile River and die by drowning. After a while I forgot about the dream until I started learning about the Egyptians in 6th grade. I made the connection and to this day I feel like I just 'saw' how I died in a past life or some other third eye stuff. I also wonder if that dream is the reason for being so dark...

If I Were in Charge of the World

If I were in charge of the world I'd cancel early mornings, rules, bedtime and also taxes.

If I were in charge of the world there'd be Adult Naps, Snack time, and also Anarchy!

If I were in charge of the world you wouldn't have Liquorice. You wouldn't have Bills. You wouldn't have to Adult or "Do your homework ." You wouldn't even have homework.

If I were in charge of the world Candy would be a vegetable. All Adult children and a person who sometimes forgot how to adult and sometimes forgot to pick up their kids would still be allowed to be in charge of the world.

Color Association Poem

Black is the color of the night, the unknown, and your deepest, darkest thoughts.

There are many colors to describe a person and mine is this. Black feels like nothing. Black is the absence of color.

Black should be a comforting color.

Black feels like nothing,
Black is the color of a void.

Black should feel like something but black feels like nothing and it leaves me at ease.

Paint Chip Poems

Haikus:
Cress Green-
Cress is a veggie,
It's a sprout like veggie,
I know nothing else.

Pea Soup-
My soup is tasty,
Peas floating around without care,
Yummy yummy soup.

Acrostic:
Frosty the snowman,
Rampaged through the town.
Over the hills and down the street,
Snowy, bloodied trails followed in his wake.
That's all,
Y'all!

Free style:
(Colors: Rock bottom, Obsidian Glass, Time and Space, and Fossilized.)
I watch through Obsidian Glass. Watch as the past becomes Fossilized by foul memories. Watching my life hit Rock Bottom and pick itself up only to do it again and again. Time and Space no longer exist to me, at least, not any more. The pressure and strain from my mortal became too much, so I decided to take my final fall.
